27Feb06 sometimes it seems like I'm stretching just to get a daily pic in. I was more hopeful these past 2 days with the sun out and about, but instead I ended up w/ an indoor and a night shot. f/4.5, 1/15s, iso 1600
26Feb06 prelude to march madness. yesterday's pic a day late. maybe I'll have time to go through today's stuff today. finally had a cloudless day and I'm posting an indoor shot. go figure. f/4.5, 1/20s, iso 1250.

23Feb06 went to the new Georgia Aquarium today. the pics didn't come out as nicely as I'd have liked. I guess I'll have to go back and practice some more. I was torn between the depth of one pic, vs the human element in this one chosen for the daily shot. f/4.5, 1/50s, iso 800
22Feb06 perhaps I was too hard on the weatherman yesterday. so this one's not that great a shot, but one intended to bring up a couple of questions. first, at what point can you consider the sky neutral gray? second, I always seem to have spikes in the red channel. now, I understand it w/ point lights like these, but I also get it w/ bright red flowers. any particular technique in preventing this?
