the 2nd running of the georgia marathon was raced this morning. we had a good rain most of the night, followed by cooler temperatures (mid 40's F) in the morning. about mile 20 came within a half block of the house, so I ventured out briefly to grab a few shots.

getting ready for the game.

as I am wont to say, it ain't baseball season until the cup's been awarded. I did, however, make it to the preseason exhibition game tonight. I'd report that the Indians defeated the Braves, but by the 6th inning there were no recognizable names on either side of the field.

while looking over the pictures from 1 year ago, I'm amazed at how we haven't had discussions of pollen counts yet. I'm sure that last year's drought gets some of the blame/credit.

evening drive time, a similar picture as one through the right side mirror from march 2 years ago. this is from underneath about 12 lanes of interstate, giving the impression being in a tunnel.
