having recently acquired lightroom 3, i've been minimally adjusting images since.
this one i intended to convert to black and white even as i was shooting it. although the light was filtered through the window, and there were clouds enough to subdue it, there was still a particularly dark corner. it took way too long for a program that is suppose to be 'easy' to process photos.
somewhere during the process i fired up capture nx2 and performed 7 steps and had an image i was happy with.
i came back to lr3 after dinner and tried to get to something similar to what i'm used to w/ nx2.
now, granted i've got 6 yrs experience with nx2, and ~1 mo on lr3, but 7 steps vs, well, i haven't gone back to count them.
i'm good with the keys, and ok with the wood grain around the knob, but the noise in the shadow areas is noticably worse from lr3 than nx2 (no noise reduction is implemented in either version).
